Where do your shadows fall and when?  How much privacy do you want?  Where is it most needed.  What are the Growth characteristics of the tree?  As you can see there are a lot of factors in picking and placing a tree in your Sarasota landscape, Here in Venice landscapes I saw how the shade trees   benifited the turf on those dry hot weeks of drought, I could actuall see the shade ring because the turf was very green in the ring and looking like straw outside the shade ring.
